What a Beautiful Day!

Joey got Jackson this adorable Quicksilver hoodie, so we all went outside and had a front yard picnic. The weather has been so beautiful and Jackson loves to be outside. What a blessed day! Take a look at these pictures.

9 Months Old!

Man does it go fast!

Here are a few things that baby Jackson is now doing:

1. He gives high fives.....of course not when we are trying to show other people
2. He holds up his hand and sings when his favorite song, the Wiggles, "Five Little Ducks" comes on.
3. He wrestles with his dad and even immitates the "grunting" noises that his daddy makes
4. He shakes his head "no" ALOT!
5. He sticks out his tongue
6. He says, momma, dadda, bye, an occasional "hi"
7. He climbs on EVERYTHING! He loves to climb onto the base of his walker which is only about 4 inches off the ground, however it is getting scary because now he climbs ontop of the entire walker. He pulls himself up to where he is laying completely ontop of the play area! He really is freakishly strong
8. He loves dragging his toys up the step in our living room and banging it on our hard wood floor.
9. He throws things underneath our furnitiure and then lays out flat on his tummy and reaches for it. He loves looking under the furniture. No tellin' whats under there.
10. He loves to chase me around the ottoman, but when I try to hide he cheats, cause he looks underneath to see where I am.

Here are a few random pics you might enjoy.

This is Joey kissing Jackson's neck. This is a nightly ritual that involves the two of them, wrestling, laughing, and rollin' around.

Joey got Jackson his first pair of big boy underwear from Racquet and Jog. How cute is he in his orange briefs.

Check out the boys just watchin' football together. This was such a precious moment I had to capture it on film, but what is neat is that he laid like that with him for probably 10 minutes. For our "on the go" child that was amazing!

I tried to take some sweet mom and baby pics before church one morning but he wasn't havin' it.

We showed him food, so of course he perked up right away.

Florida Fun

We had a great time in Orlando this past weekend. We went there for the surf expo that is held there every year. We got to see a bunch of venders and I got to tag along to help choose the girls apparel and accessories for the spring. We saw Roxy, Reef, O'Neil, Split, RVCA and some others. One really cool thing is that you get some free stuff when you go. I got a couple of flip flops, tank tops, bags, a cd, and a fun scarf. Joey and I went with Brittany and RJ, two awesome employees of Racquet and Jog, and we all had a blast! Thanks guys for letting me come, it was great! One of the highlights was a REALLY nice dinner at a place called Charley's which included fantastic steak and dessert. We really had a great time and I am glad that I was able to go. Thanks guys for a fantastic time!!! Sorry no pics.......boo!

Its Two Fold Really...

This post is two fold really. First, it is a testament to the talents of my amazing sister who took this picture and then worked her magic to make it look professional. Jess, seriously you could start your own business right now. You are sooooo talented! Second, this post shows the intensity to which my child lives life. Seriously, he is awesome!!!!! He cracks me up!!! Throwin' a ball and just into it man, just into it! You go hard or go home in this kids world.
