Water Baby

Double Trouble

They are bad enough by themselves, but get them together and they are a real mess! This is my dad and his good friend and neighbor Darrell. Darrell and Stephanie live just across the street from my parents and are so much fun to hang out with! What a blessing good neighbors are. This is a tribute to great neighbors, so Darrell and Stephanie thanks for being such wonderful people to my mom and dad. If you have great neighbors go tell 'em! If you don't then come move onto Sellmeyer Ln cause I know two great families there who would be wonderful.

Create!

This was a picture that Jess took of me while we were hanging out at my parents pool. I just love taking pictures and creating things. I have my camera in my living room at all times in case I need to snap a moment quickly. I also keep a journal in Jackson's room next to the rocker. I don't know what it is about rocking him that inspires me, but it does. It could be that God's beautiful masterpiece inspires me to create or it could just be that for a few brief moments I am still and able to think clearly. Whatever the the reason, I enjoy it so much. That is why scrapbooking, taking pictures, writing, cooking and even just covering something in fun paper, is so great for me. I love it! And with Jackson here I am ALWAYS inspired. So find your creative side and tell me about it. I think we all need that outlet, whatever it may be. Yeah for creating and for reasons to create!

The Office

So Who Won?

Well, as promised I am going to tell you who won the First Annual Memorial Day Decathlon. Drum roll please....... the winners are..............................................The Fitness Gurus!!!! Yes, you heard me correctly, Joey and I took the gold! Now the best part of the win was this awesome trophy that we get to keep for the year at Casa de Kraus. Check out this hand-made beauty, which was a Darrell original. It is up for grabs next year, but for '08 it is ours!!!!!



We are very proud of our win and have had a hard time putting the trophy down. Jackson likes to sleep with it.

So if you stop by don't be surprised to find the trophy on our mantel, maybe in a glass case with it's own spot light. Competitive....no not us. We will also give you the play by play if you want to know how the big win happened. I will tell you this in case you were wondering. The championship came down to the final event of high card. I had Jackson reach for a card and would you know he pulled the ace! So really he is the MVP in all this. I would like to thank Jackson for pullin' out the big win for us. I would also like to thank all the worthy competitors who really gave us a run for our money, I wanna thank our moms and dads for teaching us all the skills neccessary to compete in decathlons, and finally I would like to thank God for this beautiful award.
