Our Beautiful Baby Boy!

We just got back from our sonogram this morning and it went wonderfully! We were able to really see him great with the 4D sonogram. He is officially 12 ounces and 20 weeks old. The nurse said everything looked great, and we were so glad that Joey's mom was able to come with us to share this special event. They told us that it is 100% a boy, so we can really start planning and preparing. In fact we already have the nursery furniture up in his room. We are borrowing from my brother and sister-in-law, who graciously offered it to us. We are thrilled and can't wait for him to be here. I posted a few of the pictures from the 4D sonogram, but as the nurse told me, keep in mind that he has alot of growing to do, so these aren't going to look like a fully developed baby. They are still cute, especially the one of him sucking his thumb.

GUESS WHAT?????

Well, our child finally cooperated this time. We are having a BOY!!!! Joey and I are thrilled. We went to the doctor who graciously gave us a sonogram even though it wasn't scheduled, so that I could find out what we were having. We started the sonogram and the baby wasn't wanting to face us. The doctor kept saying that the baby just wouldn't cooperate and turn around, and then miraculously he turned to the side and everyone saw that it was a boy. Well, at least the doctor said she was 85% sure it was a boy. She didn't want to say for sure since this wasn't my "official" sonogram visit. We are both pretty sure that it is a boy. Yeah! We are just so thrilled that we know. And I am so excited that I was right! Let the planning begin.

Ok everybody we all gotta pray....

Ok, my next sonogram is going to be this coming tuesday, which is the 17th. As most of you know I tried to do a sonogram about 4 weeks ago and my child was being shy and didn't cooperate. Joey and I are so ready to find out what it is, so please pray that my child will cooperate with us at 3:15pm on the 17th. We need to find out which of the two of us is right. I think it is a boy and Joey thinks its a girl.

Pensacola Vacation

Let me start out by saying that this trip was one hundered percent possible because of the generosity of my mother and father in law. We were so blessed that they put everything together and made it all happen.
We left at about midnight on saturday morning and drove all night until we arrived at about 10:00am in Pensacola. We had from sunday until saturday to play in the sand, kayak, swim, tan, eat amazing food, and just hang out with family. We had an amazing time! We took tons of pictures, so I thought I would share a few with you.
