18 Days And Counting.....

Lets just get down to the nitty gritty. We will be moving to the "big city" in approximately 18 days and we are ready to BLOW....IT....UP!!! BY "BLOW IT UP" I mean TEAR.....IT....UP!!! And, by "TEAR IT UP", I mean we are gonna OWN IT!! Ok, I'm not really makin' sense and I'm gettin' nowhere with this little talk so lets just say that we are ready to make it HOME. Joey, Jackson and I drove down to Fort Worth this weekend to scout out some areas that we would want to live in. There are so many areas around the city that we are excited about exploring further, it is so hard to choose! We drove around and got further familiarized with this fabulous city. We were not disappointed! Can I just say that I have pretty much lived in Dallas most of my life and had never really explored the Fort Worth area, and what a shame cause its awesome! We love how beautiful it is, and also that it doesn't feel like a huge city. It is so family friendly and has SO much to offer. Ok lets just get down to why I needed to blog today. I have two words for you, FUZZY TACOS. Ok, you might be thinking, as I was, these two words should NEVER be put together, however once you try this little hole-in-the-wall you will change your tune.

Thats right, this little mexican food PARADISE serves Butt Burnin' hot sauce. This was seriously, no lie, the best Mexican food I have had. It was so good that after we ate there at lunch I kinda wanted to suggest it again for dinner. AMAZING! They have one in Denton too, so go go go go go! If you don't like the food then I will pay for your food. Ok....I don't have any money so, no I won't but go anyway. Thanks Jess and Johnny for taking us, against our wills (come on the name IS a little frightening), to our new favorite place to eat. I'm lovin' me some Fort Worth!!! Cow Town Here We Come!!!!!!

Mr. Chatty McChatterson

Ok...so we have hit the big 15 MONTHS!! Whoo hooty hoo! Ok, so maybe 15 months isn't the greatest birth month ever, I mean it ain't no 12 or 24 months BUT it is worth blogging. So what that you don't get to celebrate it, Joey and I think 15 months is the new 12 months. Don't knock it till you rock it. And let me tell you somethin, this kid is ROCKIN' it!!! He keeps us laughing and running after him all day. So, without further ado...I give you the super chatty......Jackson Philip Kraus!

I would also like to fill you in on a few other facts about our little guy.
1. He loves to lift up your shirt and stick his finger in your "ba" (belly button).
2. He dances now! (hopefully there will be video soon)
3. He LOVES to read. His favorite things to point out are "ca"cupcakes, which he always follows with num...num..num. He points out "momos" which are anything with either a motor or that has a power cord. And, he loves finding animals.
4. He learned Down goes Frasier from my dad who says it when Jackson falls.
5. Fran taught him "shhh baby's sleeping", which is ADORABLE!!
6. He grabs my finger and uses it to point to things and push buttons and he even trys to eat with it.
7. He has started dunking his head under water in the bath and dumping water over his head.
8. He drives his "momo" (his 4 wheeler) all around the backyard and loves picking flowers and smelling them.
9. He sleeps really well and even slept in until 9:00AM when Mammaw was here the other day. She wore him out!!
10. Everytime Jess gets on the phone and talks to him he says, Mama, EVERYTIME! I guess we sound alike.
Well, those are some fun things that I wanted to share with you guys. Stay tuned for more of this fantastically wonderfully unique precious baby boy!

The Yogurt Experiment

What happens when you take a one year old and give him yogurt and a spoon?
See for yourself......
(this video is about three months old)

What sweet memories! I love the loud Wiggles video in the background. I have to admit on days when I am tired I throw that high chair in the living room and distract him with the Wiggles while I shovel in the food. Whatever works right?!!

Happy 4th Anniversary!

Well, I must say that I can't believe it has been four years. Wow, time flies! I can tell you I am so blessed to be able to spend my life with such an amazing man. I am so proud of him as a father and a husband. He sent me these AMAZING flowers on our anniversary which I had to blog about because look at them....GORGEOUS!!!! They are from Alley Lane florists here in Longview and they so such a great job. They pride themselves on being different and artsy. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures but she even put gold wire with little jewels through it. So fun!!! I also wanted to post a few pics from the "big day" four years ago. We had seriously so much fun! I laughed and smiled so much that my cheeks hurt. I wish we could do it again. Who's in? Cause if you're in than you're gonna need to send some money this way. That party wasn't cheap, so don't be stingy. The only change is that this go around you won't be getting hand done invites theyr;e gonna be of the evite kind. Also, no open bar, BYOB; oh yeah, and no dj or food cause WOW they were expensive. Yeah, you better send lots of money!
Enjoy the pics!!!!

This was all Joey's idea and I loved it!!!!

Look at him struttin' down the aisle.

The dance

Check out the dip! (No I don't mean Joey)

Bonnie, I'm thinking from this pic that you were the one that landed that big wad of petals in my face. I still love you!

Bath Time

I had a great time taking pictures of Jackson while Joey bathed him the other night. This first one is my favorite. It seems like he is looking at his Daddy saying, "Who Me?"

Come On Ride The Train.....

So, we might not be getting there by train, but as alot of you already know, the Kraus family is about to head off on their first major adventure together. We are going to be moving to Fort Worth! We are so excited for our new adventure, but often the excitement turns to panic, like when a realtor calls you at 2:50 and asks to show your house at 3!!!!! Ten minutes....with a one year old......are they serious!!! Anywho, apart from little moments like that we have had such a peace about the decision. We are obviously going to miss everyone in Longview, but we plan on visiting ALOT. So get ready Flip, Fran, Jeff, Lauren, Beep, and Amanda, and anyone else out there brave enough to house my crazy one year old. We will be comin'. Like Uncle Eddie and the trailor, we'll load up and stay awhile. Anywho, to give you the low down, Joey is working for a good family friend, Darrell. He is the Village Idiot pictured below.

He will be working for U.S Right of Way and he will be doing stuff with like contracts and signatures and property and off roading a bit and giving people money and sometimes forcing people to take money and working in a fabulous downtown office. If that didn't make sense, Joey explains it MUCH better. Anywho, there is definately a ton of stuff happening, so I will be sure to keep you posted on it all. With all that said, we are in the process of selling our house, so if anyone is in the market in Longview, give us a call. We will continue to keep you updated.
