Iphone Photos
Check out some of my random iphone photos.
I first must start with our trip to Ham N' Eggs for breakfast the other morning. If you haven't been to this place you really should go. The inside looks like it did probably back in 1980, which is super, but it is their food, especially their portions that really make it awesome. The story goes that the owner a woman who experienced horrible starvation in a Japanese war camp during the war vowed that no one that came into her restaurant would ever leave hungry, hence the EXTREME portions. Jackson's kiddy mickey mouse "faffles" were adorable, but it is the adults food that is extra large. The next picture of my pancakes don't do them justice because you can't tell the size, but the plate couldn't contain them and I only got a short stack! They each were also about an inch thick! If you know me, you probably know I can put away some pancakes, but the small dent I ended with in these was embarrassing. I couldn't even eat one third of them! Don't get me started on the half a loaf of bread they call ONE biscuit!
Moving on to the great, the wonderful, CHUCKY!!! Wow, does my child love Chucky Cheese! He hugged and tried to kiss Chucky for pretty much as long as he would let him. He gives him high fives and sits on him too. In Jackson's world, Chucky is a rock star!
Go Cowboys!!! Jackson's cowboy jersey just came in so we sported it during the LOSS (UGGGGG) last night.
And, last but not least is this picture. This was at Jess and Johnny's when he spilt his juice all over his clothes and mommy wasn't prepared with extras. One of Jess' shirts worked (sort of), but you have to admit it goes with that stylin' cowboy hat.

21 Months Old
Well, we have just a few more months before we begin battling the terrible twos(I don't know about you, but the Jaws theme song is playing very loudly in my head). It should be quite interesting, which means there should be some drama, and by drama I mean major emarassing fits; some laughter, and by laughter I mean the kind that spontaneously happens when pushed to extremes; and some action, and by action I mean lots and lots of "timey", which is what Jackson lovingly calls time out. I will try to blog it all! Well, moving on.
I love updating you guys on what he is doing, so without further ado.....
Fun Facts About Jack (It is weird calling him Jack, but it just fit better in the title...don't ya think?)
1. He knows his colors now, and not just the primary ones. He is really good with pink and purple and black and white.
2. One of his favorite things to do is dig for 'buckies' (bugs). He is ALL boy!!! He picks up bugs, frogs, whatever he can catch. He especially likes digging for worms.
3. Now, when we give him something he says 'thank you much'. I think it is cause we always say thank you very much.
4. He now runs to his daddy and sticks out his arms and says, 'Kiss 'em'. Which means he wants to kiss him. He will plant one right on the mouth. PRECIOUS!
5. He counts to 7, but after that it gets very hairy.
6. He loves Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go, which has got him saying a few words in Spanish! Go figure...I took three years in school and I can't say anything!
7. We are heavily potty training, but it is very hit or miss whether he says 'potty' before or after he has gone.
8. When he wants something he says (example) 'Outside Please Thank You Much'. He runs it all together as he grabs your finger to take you there. Somehow I think he has missed the point of asking.
9. He still loves baths, The Wiggles, and climbing on anything.
10. When I go get him in the mornings he says 'Mornin' Punkin' Because I say Good Morning Pumpkin every morning. It seriously melts my heart!
11. Oh, and lastly we have ditched the paci during the day. The only time he gets it is at night or naptime. He REALLY didn't like this, but after about 3 days, we are home free!
Lastly, I leave you with some pics of the "new grandbaby party" that Jess and Johnny threw for my parents when they told them the good news. All you need to know is there was cake.
And this was what happened after the cake was gone.
Stay tuned for more to come!

The Magic of the Iphone
What happens when your child decides to put your iphone in a cup of water? Well, besides the obvious mom freak out and a few hours of no sound on the phone, absolutely NOTHING! Now, I know that this phone can do a lot, but I had no idea it could come back from the water dunk. I'm starting to think they have some kind of magical power. Maybe it is a special "healing" app. that I forgot I downloaded, but none of my other phones ever did this for me. I accidentaly dropped one in a toilet and another in a washing machine (I know I can be clutsy!) and they died upon impact. I am starting to think I could throw this one off the roof and it would put itself back together. No, I'm not going to test this theory, however I am going to proclaim the great durability of the thing.

A New Baby Cousin!
Yea for babies!!!! It has gone public, so I thought I would blog this great time in my sister and Johnny's lives. I love being an aunt to Carson and Kingston and I can't wait to have another little rug rat running around. Jess is around 10 weeks pregnant and is a champ a the whole pregnancy thing. Even through bouts of nausea and some crazy heart burn, she has been a trooper. Ok..ok...now onto the fun story of how they told my parents.
They knew they wanted to tell my parents in a fun way, so they enlisted Jackson for some help. His tushy became the canvas for the surprise. We corralled Jackson in the bathroom and stripped him down to his birthday suit and with a black dry erase marker wrote the surprise on his backside. He kept grabbing his bottom, and trying to turn around to see what in the world we were doing. Jess and I tried not to laugh too loud, but we finally got it written on him. Then, we just opened the door and let him loose. Jackson loves to be naked and when he is, he runs around like a maniac. This day was no exception. He ran around doing circles and dancing and doing naked gymnastics throughout the living room. My parents were trying to slow him down long enough to figure out what was on him. Their expressions were PRICELESS! I was so glad I got everyone together for a quick pic to capture this precious moment. We can't wait to meet the little guy or gal that God is knitting together right now! What a great time! Check out the pics of my precious baby's tushy.
