When Jackson and I go to the Grapevine Mills Mall it really is an experience. There are certain things that HAVE to happen in order for the day to be complete for this little guy. The little trip begins with seeing the 'gater' which is a real life looking alligator that moves in a swampy thing and snaps his mouth and usually scares all the little children. Jackson seems fascinated by him and will ask to see him over and over. He has to throw money at him to try to get one in his mouth when he chomps. After this we go into the Rain Forrest Cafe store and play with all the animal toys they have. We never go actually into the cafe, because Joey, Jackson and I did that one time a few months ago and lets just say Jackson did NOT like the super loud gorilla. We had to leave before we had eaten because he was so scared. Well, after that we ride the train that is like a mini little train with four separate cars to ride in. The video below shows us going through the mall. After the train ride we have to make a stop at Anne's Pretzels where he gets a cinnamon sugar pretzel to eat while we make our way to the Barnes and Noble store where he plays with Thomas the Train and reads all the books. We usually ride the motorcycle ride they have there, make another round at the Rain Forrest, and then we can head home. Its exhausting but seeing Jackson having so much fun makes it all worth it!
